A Giles Guided Tour is a private tour for up to 6 people. It includes all transport, including pick up and drop off in Christchurch but not the cost of your wine tastings or lunch. This means we can either use the same itinerary as the Wiapara Wine Experience or change it up, depending on your circumstances and preferences.

Wine Tours in Christchurch/ North Canterbury
Indulge in a day of wine tasting in the Waipara wine area. About 75km north of Christchurch, it is renowned for its warm, dry climate and limestone-rich soils — ideal for growing the premium quality grapes that produce world class, multi award-winning wines and some of New Zealand’s most distinctive wine. The area is most famous for it’s Pinot Noir, Riesling, Pinot Gris and delicious Chardonnay. You will enjoy tutored tastings at the area's very best wineries and lunch. This is not a pre-packaged tour and the cost of lunch and tastings is not included in this price.
